Richmond, Virginia – Independent children’s educational developer Learning with Mattie today announces the release of Mattie’s ABC’s for the iPad. Mattie’s ABC’s introduces letters and words to toddlers, preschool and home schooled children (ages 2-5). Mattie’s ABC’s is taught by 6 year old Mattie, an animated character designed after the founder’s daughter.

“Mattie loves to help other children learn, and many children often learn better from their peers.” said Greg Smith, founder and Mattie’s dad. “As a 1st grader Mattie did all of the voice over for the app. She likes to help, she often reads to kindergarten classes at her school.”

Mattie’s ABC’s includes:
• Over 80 words and objects to help children associate their letters in real world context
• A matching game to assist children with recognizing the sounds of letters
• Sing Along with Mattie, as a song always brightens the day
