VOTE to bring the new “Bully” documentary to Richmond

Bully, the much-talked-about documentary that delves into the devastating and pervasive issue of childhood and adolescent bullying, is scheduled to be released on March 30th, but it’s still uncertain where it will be released, and when (or if) it will be coming to Richmond theaters.  But there is something we can do to ensure it comes to our town: The folks behind The Bully Project, a community outreach and education effort associated with the film, is conducting a “Demand It” contest where people can vote to bring the film to their city.  The top ten cities with the most demands will win a screening of the film.  While we might be at a slight population disadvantage when compared to NYC and LA and the other large cities at the top of the list, we more than make up for it in passion about the important topics that are impacting our children.

Help us bring Bully to Richmond by going to this web page and clicking the Demand It button.  (Make sure you enter a Richmond zip code if it hasn’t been pre-filled for you.)  The top 10 cities have votes in the 400-800 range as of today.  With all the moms, dads, grandparents, teachers and others who care about putting a stop to bullying in Richmond and surrounding areas, we can beat that!!

Let’s show our support for The Bully Project.  Let’s show our community that this is an issue that needs to be addressed.  Let’s show our children that their health, happiness and well-being matter.

Click here to go to the Demand It page.   The Demand It campaign ends on March 30th at 2pm.  Spread the word!
