Richmond Electric Vehicle Initiative (REVi) – is hosting a “REVi Rally” on Monday, April 16th at 2:00 pm to premiere the new film “Revenge of the Electric Car” at J. Sarge’s Parham Campus. Richmond was selected as one of 19 pilot cities (nationwide) for the Ford Focus EV. REVi and the Sustainable Transportation Initiative of Richmond (STIR) will be doing a lot of awareness building this year about electric vehicles, low-emissions vehicles, as well as other sustainable, alternative modes of transportation such as bicycling, walking, riding the bus, carpooling, vanpooling, riding a Segway, etc.

Successful Transition for Students with Autism – Being diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome as an adult forced New York Times bestselling author David Finch to examine all aspects of his life, especially his marriage. Finch details his experience in his book, The Journal of Best Practices. On April 21, Finch will be signing his book at a transition fair for students with autism called Unlocking Tomorrow: Successful Transition for Students with Autism at Charterhouse School on the United Methodist Family Services’ (UMFS) campus.
