Night Time Story: The Stars That Remembered

In a quiet village where the night sky stretched like a giant velvet curtain, a girl named Liora loved to gaze at the stars. Every night, she lay on her rooftop, watching them twinkle like tiny lanterns. But what no one knew—what even Liora didn’t know—was that the stars were not just lights in the sky.
They were keepers of forgotten stories.
One evening, as she whispered her wishes to the stars, one of them twinkled brighter than the rest. A soft, musical voice echoed in the night.
“Liora, do you wish to hear a forgotten tale?”
Startled but excited, she nodded. A golden thread of light streamed from the sky, wrapping around her like a warm blanket. Suddenly, she found herself floating among the stars.
The stars began to speak, their voices like a chorus of old memories. They told her stories no one had heard in centuries—tales of lost kingdoms, talking rivers, and enchanted forests.
Each night, Liora returned, listening and learning. She wrote the stories down in a giant book and read them to the children of her village.
Soon, people from faraway lands came to hear the lost fairytales, their hearts filling with wonder.
One day, an old storyteller visited her and smiled. “These are the tales my grandmother used to tell, but I thought they were gone forever.”
Liora realized then that no story was ever truly lost. It just waited for someone to remember.
And so, every night, as the stars twinkled above, she promised them: I will always remember.
And the stars, in turn, kept shining—whispering their forgotten fairytales to those who cared to listen.
